Resulting from the announcements is there any chance to re-start the release of AnyDAC with RTC?

May be, may be ... It is too early to talk about that possibility.
But if other customers will be also interested in this possibility,
then I will consider to restart this product ...
BTW, the restart, if it is possible, will happen on absolutely
new level - AnyDAC and RTC SDK both are far more strong
than they were 2.5 years ago ...
Lets see !

Lets see !
This is what will make it so very attractive to use again...
I have posted also posted a similar request on RTC forum if you want to watch reactions...

Beside the offical vote ...
I'm very happy to see announced the unified database notification that comes with AnyDAC 3.x.
Midlware - My Vote - I see multiple.
1) Remobjects SDK
2) Datasnap
3) Somethina propretary ... that comes close to ASTA*)
*) If RTC DS will support AnyDAC then ... no need to write something additional
*) Somehting like ASTA but only for database objects ... I think this is enough. Anything else is currently supported and maybe an integration into in the end Datasnap, remobjects SDK or rtc-sdk is enough. But we will see ...

Any update?
Is the project dead?
I must make a decision soon because moving to Delphi 2009 or above means a change to another product suite that works with RTC.

Is there any time frame for version 2.0 release date?
is there any info or about features set to show how it will be?
I'm looking for middle tier solution, I looked RO and it's nice but big more than our need, and Datasnap doesn't look like a real middle tier, it's more like stored procedures in delphi app.

ThinDAC v 2.0 will be released when it will be ready.
In general, that will be a set of client datasets allowing to work through RTC SDK with a server containing DBMS's specific datasets, like a AnyDAC, ODAC, ZeodLIB, etc.
