Oracle 8.17 DBMS and AnyDac

Hi there!
I have on a PC a applicaton which uses Oracle 8.17. I should be able to reach this Database from my PC. But it seams that I need something like 'OCI' (=Oracle Client Installation?). Where can I get this? Till now I only uses MS-SQL and I didn't need anything else to reach the database?
Could somebody give me a step-by-step help to reach this oracle-Database?

Hello !

You need to install Oracle Client, prefered version 8.1.7. Where to get it ? You should have it on CD with server. Or you can download software from otn.oracle.com.
