Oracle Blob examples

Hi,
maybe I became to stupid, but I'm sure that some time ago I got NOCI8 working with Ora BLOBS.
There was no need to immediatliy change the long raw fields to blob fields, so I kept in mind "it will work if I need it".
since 4 day's now I'm trying to put some data into Oracle blob fields. First insert is ok, second insert work's sometimes and from the third I become a INVALID_HANDLE message.
Enviroment is D5/D7
Oracle 8.1.7 Server and client
Oracel 9.2.0.5 Server and client.
Code basis are the two distributed blob samples.
Any hints what I'm doing wrong ?
