Upgrade procedure

Dmitry,
What are the proper steps for upgrading components ?
I removed old version (Component - Install Packages - Remove), removed components from the pallete. Then open NCOCI85.DPK, click "Install".
But Component pallette isn't restored and I feel that I need to copy upgraded files from "/source" to "Delphi5/Lib".
Also I tried to make Delphi look for the information in the NCOCI8.HLP and couldn't do it.
Could you give me step-by-step instruction how to do these things ?
Moreover, vaybe it's a good idea to write this information in reade.txt also ?
