TOCIQuery and CashedUpdates

Stepped over another 'rake' 
When I set CachedUpdates=True and try to edit OciQuery in DbGrid, it doesn't work.
When I walk off the row I just added, it disappears. UpdatesPending is True, but when I call ApplyUpdates, OCIUpdateSQL seems to do nothing (SQLMonitor does not show any insert statement).
