Release 2?

Hi Dmitry

Release date for v.2 was changed couple of times. I know ThinDAC not a money maker for now, but it will never be if it is not being actively developed.

Can you give us any *real* hints when we can expect it?

Hello

Sorry for delay.

The situation is following:
- development of new ThinDAC v 2.0 features is 90-95% ready;
- for a while I have switched to AnyDAC. That is required to finish common ThinDAC and AnyDAC features and to find better ideas for hard places in ThinDAC v 2.0. This week I plan to return back to ThinDAC;
- I have done about 20% of ThinDAC help.

So, at this month I will start beta testing, but without help. Then we all will see, how it is ready for release.

I will not promize anything, because due to my workload, 2.0 release date is constantly shifting. I hope beta 2.0 will be ready in September.
