I just finished my first project with ThinDAC and NexusDB. It runs over the Internet. Clients are in Florida, ThinDAC server and Nexus database are on a machine in Brazil. Everything works super. Application sends big files back and forth (I am using couple of BLOB fields to do that) and transfers are fast, sometimes even faster than plain FTP. For regular text fields transfers are almost instant, like you are working on your desktop. Amazing what two good set of components (RTC and ThinDAC) can do.
