AnyDAC

At 1-May we going to release AnyDAC v 3.0 as our new business model milestone, at first. The AnyDAC v 3.0 will be possible to purchase only through da-soft Technologies. The main changes will be:

• The new AnyDAC customers support platform, hosted by da-soft Technologies.
• TADEventAlerter - new component, implementing unified database events notification handling.
• TADVSEManager - new component, implementing abilitiy to encode / decode BLOB field contents into a set of subfields.
• Very deep optimization of meta data retrieval queries.
• Updated documentation.
• Online documentation.
• The number of resolved issues.

ThinDAC

As you may know, the ThinDAC was da-soft multy tier data access engine, whose development and marketing were stoped 2.5 years ago, because we decided to concentrate on AnyDAC. The ThinDAC was a build on top of the AnyDAC client datasets and RealThinClient SDK remote function calls. Both of these products have done great progress as in features as in quality in last 2.5 years. So, if to relaunch ThinDAC today, there will be the great difference between ThinDAC 2007 and ThinDAC 2010. Also, we have a valuable amount of the ThinDAC developed but not published new features. Sayd that, we are considering to revive and restart the product. If you like, you can discuss that idea here.

da-soft Web Site

We decided to implement the new business model, when we will develop, sell our products and support our customers on our own. For that we need stable, convenient and fast web platform.

So, we have upgraded our old Joomla site to the new state, when every one component (in general and in Joomla sense :) ) is up-to-date, well tuned and optimized. For that we have used the following Joomla components:

That costed us around 200 USD, because most of that is freeware. And because most of that is open sourced, it may be adjusted as you need. So, that was done by us. And we have renewed the site title page design.
